My name is Jessica Mangione. Since this moment is all we ever really have, I thank you for choosing to share this one with me! With all that life has offered me to grow from, all the many ways my perceptions and thoughts have changed by living, there is one truth that has always remained. It is a constant source that feeds my life force and transforms pain into beauty. It is Creative Expression, and it is to me as air is to us all. It comes through me in many ways -- by writing or singing, capturing a moment in a photograph, revealing something magical in a person through art, or perhaps by helping to heal an ailing body. I find meaning when I communicate. I find peace and inspiration when I have the opportunity to connect with the light of another soul. This is my joy….this is my purpose! I am grateful for this reality and I would like to share more of my story with you. I was born into a family with lots of love and amazing talent. Beautiful tribal like hearts. My mother is the sixth daughter of ten children. Seven girls and three boys. My maternal grandmother and grandfather were also both born into large musical families. They made their living as musicians singers and entertainers. Truly, I was given a microphone instead of a pacifier! My father is an Italian chef from New York. He has a knack for making people feel at home and regal all at the same time. My parents raised me with a lot of love. Delicious food and beautiful music. They taught me to express myself and follow my dreams. And that -- I do. I began singing at three and remember wishing I could be just like my Mom. My family had three bands. Watching them on stage was my favorite pastime. I knew at a very young age that I was part of something very special. It was something I saw in peoples' eyes when they would come to one of our holiday gatherings. My cousins and I would watch my grandmother and see a radiant example of grace on piano. Surrounded by her seven daughters -- each with their unique ray of light. The eight beautiful women brought a sound and sense of loves' beauty into being. It seems grand and surreal to me when I think back on it now, It was, and yet this is how my life began. My career: Jessica Mangione is a Multi Versatile Dynamic Creator and Performer. Born into a musical family. As the 4th generation of entertainers Jessica has honed her talent’s on stages around the world since the age of three. By the young age of 8 Jessica was in the recording studio as a session singer for local commercials such as “(Sunny) Bono's restaurant” . At age 18 Jessica Landed her first record deal with “Floyd Records” under the alias “Jessica Moreno",. Skip Martin of Kool & the Gang. She has also shared the stage with Jimmy Buffett, Bill Medley, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Unified Tribe. In 2012 Jessica Brought in the New Year as she performed in Japan with one of her favorite vocal groups and mentors, The Whispers. A fluent songwriter, Jessica Joined (BET’s 2008 Best Male Neo Soul Artist) Magic Mendez in his group Unified Tribe in 2009.Colaberating and Writing 7 of the 10 songs on Unified Tribe’s 4th release On Purpose. With songs that encompasses deep introspection, self-doubt yielding to courage and confidence, mistrust leading to faith in love, Jessica's lyrics reflect her walk toward self discovery. Using her notably flexible vocal range to convey the emotion of her self composed songs; this southern Californian beauty reveals many inner secrets hidden beneath a cool surface showing us the depths of her musical talents. ________________________________________ Her lyrics and melodic delivery have been noticed and picked up by The Whispers final Secular album. Jessica was on-screen with George Clooney in Up in the Air, starred in the Indi feature film Civil King, had a cameo in the Sundance short film “The Run,” and has appeared on CSI – Las Vegas, The Strip and Revolution. For 15+years Jessica has written, engineered and produced Jingles both Spanish and English for companies such as Folgers, Camelback Kia, Hyundai, Archlateck Family Dental, Memories evening wear ,ect. Throughout her 25+ years in entertainment industry Jessica has been in front of the camera for most of her life. Because of this she has developed “an eye” for what the industry is looking for in a portfolio or promo package. Jessica found another creative expression through photography and Multi-media presentations. Her unique graphics and imagery captivate an other worldly feel.
