Bio

Atlanta based songwriter, Steve Todd, has been honing his skills in songwriting for the past several years. Originally a poet in High School, Steve blends his 10-years of writing into exciting masterpieces of art. Steve’s evolution into creative songwriting allowed him to introduce another element to this art and extend the range of his talent even further. His use of writing allows Steve to produce a book about his experience serving as a Christian Missionary, “Going Back to San Berdu" utilizing his unique creativity to tell stories. Most recently Steve’s written 3 country songs—”In Reverse”, “The Greatest Generation” and “You Never Loved Me, Like I Love You”. Steve’s currently writing another 5 songs. Songwriting is a part of Steve’s DNA where his fourth Great Grandfather, Parley P. Pratt published a book, “The Millennium and Other Poems” in 1840. Later, 7 of Parley’s songs were published in a gospel hymnbook, including; “Jesus, Once of Humble Birth” and “Come, O Thou King of Kings”. On his mother’s side of the family, Steve’s first cousin, Lindsey Stirling is a popular violinist, singer, songwriter, and dancer. Lindsey is famous for the “dub-step” and produced “Crystallized” and “Shatter Me” with rock vocalist Lzzy Hale. She’s been featured on America’s Got Talent where she made it to the semi-finals, ABC TV’s Dancing with the Stars, and she currently has 11 million subscribers on YouTube. When Steve listens to a song or watches a movie, he wants to laugh or step inside the singer or actors’ shoes for a while. In other words, he’s escaping to another world. Steve’s music accomplishes this objective by enabling the listener to imagine and be free to dream. This is his goal as a songwriter. Steve finds success, when his fans can escape from this hectic world and float into a galaxy far, far away. This what Entertainment is all about!
