Bio

Sarah Rose is a songwriter based in Winchester, UK. She has had music released on labels including Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Sony/Direction, Warner/14th Floor and most recently NiMi Records NL. Sarah began her songwriting journey co-writing with indie band Longview on their debut album ‘Mercury’ which was released on Warner/14th Floor. She went on to co-write UK Top Ten ‘Sunrise’ for Angel City along with many other pop/dance tracks and her song ‘Mezmerized’ was used by Jacob’s Creek wine in Australia. In terms of recent work, Sarah wrote a song which was released by BRIT Nominee Sarah Class in 2020. In February 2022 she released ‘My Oxygen’ with NiMi Records NL and attended DWB Music’s songwriting camp in Andalusia in March 22. Sarah is a mentor for the Ivors Academy and mentored for their inaugural programme with Help Musicians in 20/21. She is an Associate Lecturer at Winchester University, teaching across songwriting, composition, and performance modules. The songwriting module ran for the first time in 2021 and the content was developed and delivered by Sarah. Sarah also runs songwriting workshops and has been booked for the I AM Writing Festival in Winchester for June 22.
